The Head, Heart, & Hands: July 10th, 2022
Hey Central Hope! Welcome to The Weekly Worship, where we will lay out the songs for the upcoming Sunday and offer a way to worship our God with our Head, Heart and Hands.
At Central, we believe our daily worship of God should engage the head, heart, and hand. We say this because God has commanded us to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. So each week, we will highlight an upcoming song and reflect on how it engages our Head, Heart, and Hand. Our aim in providing this is to help prepare you to participate in the worship of our great God! We hope you can enjoy these songs throughout your week on your commute to work, in the line at school, or at home!

This week, we will reflect on Hail to the Lord’s Anointed, written by Sandra McCracken in 2012.
“His name shall stand forever”
Worship God with your head and reflect on God’s devotion to his name in Malachi 1:11, “For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations says the LORD of hosts.”
“He comes in comfort speedy to those who suffer wrong”
Worship God with your heart and know that comfort is coming with Matthew 5:4, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
“Hail to the Lord’s anointed”
Worship God with your hands know Isaiah 61:1 has been fulfilled, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberties to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”
“Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.” –
